1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, phone number, password hash, and account preferences.
  • Billing Information: We use Stripe to process all token purchases. We do not collect or store your credit card numbers or financial details on our servers. Stripe handles this information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. We only store transaction IDs, dates, and your token balances.
  • AI Interaction Data: We collect the text, files, and queries you submit to the Service (Inputs) and the responses generated (Outputs).
  • Technical Data & Cookies: IP addresses, browser types, and telemetry data regarding how you interact with our platform. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep you logged in and analyze platform performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the Service and send your prompts to our AI processing engines.
  • To process token purchases through Stripe and manage your account balance.
  • AI Model Training: We actively use your AI Interaction Data (Inputs and Outputs) to train, fine-tune, and improve our artificial intelligence models.
  • To provide customer support and monitor for abuse or fraud.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. We share your information only with:

  • AI API Providers: Third-party language model providers used to process your request.
  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery (Amazon SNS / AWS End User Messaging), and our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Legal Authorities: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of our platform.

4. SMS / Messaging

If you opt in, AutoBidEx may send transactional SMS about your own vehicle offers and auctions (for example, dealer replies, outbid alerts, or a watched drop starting). These messages are not marketing broadcasts. Marketing SMS, if offered, requires a separate opt-in and is never used for auction deal alerts.

  • How to opt in: Enable transactional SMS in Account Settings or Dealer Settings, or via an in-product SMS consent prompt. The control is never pre-checked. SMS is not required to use AutoBidEx.
  • Phone number: We store the phone number you provide for delivery and retain a consent timestamp (notificationConsent.updatedAt) for audit purposes.
  • Frequency: Message frequency varies with your activity (event-driven).
  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to cease SMS, or turn off transactional SMS in settings. Reply HELP for help.

5. Data Retention and Security

Because we retain ownership of all AI Interaction Data (Inputs and Outputs), we may store this data indefinitely for model training and operational purposes, even if you delete your account. We implement commercially reasonable encryption to protect your Account Information.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

7. International Data Transfers

AutoBidEx operates globally. Your information, including Account Information and AI Interaction Data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
